Work a winter here
Seasonal work on a small hill, where an instructor teaches rather than herds, and everyone knows everyone by February.

Teach Skiing &Amp; Snowboarding This Winter
Industry-leading pay, guaranteed full-time hours, and a team that treats teaching as a craft. Certified or first-year, we want to hear from you.
Apply to TeachSki &Amp; Snowboard Instructors
The largest seasonal intake. Certification helps but isn't required to apply; what matters is that you can teach a nervous adult or a six-year-old their first turns and have them want to come back. Training is provided before the season opens.
Start an instructor application (you'll need an account to submit it, which takes a minute).
Everything Else on the Hill
Lift operations, snowmaking, grooming, rentals, the ticket window and the kitchen all staff up for the season. Those roles are filled directly rather than through an online form — email info@granlibakken.com with what you're interested in and when you're available .
Before You Apply
- The season runs roughly December through early April, weather depending.
- Weekends and holidays are the busiest days, so that's when we need people most.
- Housing in Tahoe City is tight. Sort it early if you're coming from out of the area.
