Family Sledding in Tahoe City

Bundle up and bring the whole family for 90 minutes of sledding on Granlibakken’s dedicated sled hill. With two slopes, sleds included, and a convenient location just minutes from downtown Tahoe City, it’s an easy way for families to get outside and enjoy the snow together.

Toddler tickets are free but have to be booked with at least one paid ticket.
Good to Know Before You Come
- Two slopes for different comfort levels. Choose between two sledding slopes, including a gentler option that gives families with younger children a more approachable place to enjoy the snow.
- Sleds are included. We’ll have a saucer ready for you. Personal sleds and tubes are not allowed on the sled hill.
- Groomed & staffed. The sled hill is regularly groomed and monitored by trained staff during busy periods.
- No lift required. There’s no lift to the top of the sledding hill, so plan to walk back up between runs. Consider it part of the adventure, and a great way to warm up between rides.
- Little sledders need a grown-up. Children under 8 should be accompanied and supervised by an adult and included on the same reservation.
What to bring
Come dressed for a day in the snow. We recommend warm layers, waterproof pants and gloves, snow boots, a winter jacket and sunglasses or goggles.
All sledders must sign a waiver. Your waiver can be completed online during checkout, so you'll have one less thing to take care of when you arrive.

Weekend/Holiday prices apply on Saturdays, Sundays, Holiday week (Dec 25, 2026 to Jan 3, 2027), and Ski & Skate week (Feb 13, 2027 to Feb 22, 2027). Evening prices apply to night sessions on any date.
