Snow Schoolers runs the ski & ride school here. We're looking for certified and first-year instructors who love teaching and are still kids at heart.

Starting Pay Rates
- Not yet certified: $22/hr
- PSIA-AASI Level 1: $24/hr, +$1/hr each for dual discipline, second language, internal exams, specialist certs
- PSIA-AASI Level 2+ and supervisors: $28/hr
- Returning staff: +$0.50/hr minimum raise
Hourly Bonuses
- Kids 6 and under: +$6/hr
- Private requests: +$10/hr
- Large groups: +$3/hr per student beyond 3
- Bonuses stack up to +$12/hr
- Plus instructors always keep 100% of tips!

- You teach, you don't herd. About 94% of our lessons are privates, compared with under 25% at the big destination resorts.

- A real hill with real history. At Granlibakken, over half of skier visits include a lesson, against roughly 7% nationally. Ski school is this hill's original business.

Get more people into snowsports, and make it a career worth having for the people who teach it. About 3% of Americans ski each year. We exist to see that number hit 4%, then 5%, and beyond.

About Snow Schoolers
Snow Schoolers started in 2014 with a simple question from friends at the Tahoe ski lease: what do instructors actually make? The answer was next to nothing. Since taking over the Granlibakken ski school in 2017 we've grown from a one-person side project into a team running the ski school at Granlibakken in Tahoe and at Frisco Adventure Park in Colorado.
